Four days of automotive celebration at the MTP Expo are behind us. Poznań Motor Show was attended by 96,103 visitors.

Leading brands present at the Poznań Motor Show

This year's edition of Poznań Motor Show featured an incredibly diverse exhibition. Participants had the chance to get up close with the latest models from leading automotive brands. The extensive list of represented manufacturers included vehicles from Mazda, Mercedes, Volkswagen Group, Aston Martin, McLaren, Nissan, Renault, Ford, Dacia, SsangYong, Suzuki, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Maxus, and Skywell.

The motorcycle salon was equally impressive, where visitors could closely examine many interesting motorcycle models. Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Triumph, Junak, Zero, Super Soco, and the debutant in Poland, Bimota – the range of motorcycle brands was just as exciting as what could be admired in the car salon.

In total, visitors could explore up to 6 thematic zones. The super-cars zone, located in Pavilion 6, garnered immense interest, showcasing sports and luxury cars. Exhibitions by PG Performance, Positive Ways, and Karlik Luxury Cars undoubtedly quickened the heartbeat of many automotive enthusiasts.

Retro-automotive enthusiasts also found something for themselves, with an exhibition prepared by the Automobilklub Wielkopolski. Celebrating its 100th year, the organization brought not only vintage cars but, with the support of Tor Poznań, also incorporated elements related to the history of car racing.

Traditionally, the tuning and detailing zone at Poznań Motor Show boasted a strong representation of exhibitors. Visitors had the opportunity to admire many interesting projects prepared by the artists of mechanical craftsmanship. The automotive technology zone, with the Poznań Volkswagen factory as its main star, complemented the exhibition section.

Premiere Presentations

An inherent part of Poznań Motor Show is the showcase of premier models. This year, Mazda presented its novelties with four Polish premieres - Mazda MX-30 R-EV, Mazda6 20th Anniversary, Mazda CX-5 M Hybrid 2023, and Mazda CX-60 Diesel. Making its debut in our market, Maxus displayed its entire model range, while SsangYong showcased a completely new vehicle from its lineup, the Torres.

A wide range of automotive celebrities at Poznań Motor Show

The March-April event attracted many well-known personalities from the automotive world. In the TVN Turbo zone, as usual, numerous small screen stars made appearances. A new addition was the presence of the renowned traveler Dawid Andres, who visited Poznań Motor Show for the first time. Another popular spot for attendees was the Videoblogers Zone, where well-known internet creators such as Kickster, Karolina Pilarczyk, and Gosia Rdest gathered. In addition to meetings in the zone, internet stars also appeared on the Main Stage of Poznań Motor Show, where they shared their passion for automotive.

Speaking of the Main Stage, it was vibrant throughout all four days of the fair. Among the program highlights were meetings with stars, presentations, lectures, and ceremonies related to the resolution of competition rivalries. A similar place was created in the Motorcycle Salon, where the editorial team of Świat Motocykli was responsible for the stage program. Motorcycle enthusiasts had their own space where they could see and hear their favorites.

The presence of stars was not limited solely to the aforementioned points on the fair map. In Pavilion 7, motorsport stars like Miko Marczyk, Kuba Przygoński, and Kajetan Kajetanowicz, ambassadors of Platinum Orlen Oil, made appearances. Equally interesting meetings took place in the Kamen Rally Team and Radio Eska zones.

The fair's program also featured displays of motorcycle stunts and car drifting by the Stunt Wars Poland team, which provided many positive impressions to the audience gathered at Plac Marka throughout all four days.

MOVE Congress, a debate on the future of automotive

The major players in the electrification transformation process in Poland gathered in Poznań at the MOVE 2023 Congress - International Mobility Congress at the MTP Expo. Manufacturers emphasized that achieving zero-emission success requires cheap and clean energy as well as access to renewable energy. Discussions with the government also addressed the need to introduce support programs and special solutions to maintain the competitiveness of the automotive industry.

The MOVE Congress this year went beyond automotive-related issues. Discussion panels focused on key challenges for the Polish economy in the context of the global fight against climate change. The MOVE Congress program was prepared in collaboration with the Polish Automotive Industry Association. Representatives from all key sectors - automotive, energy, and fuel - participated in the event.

Competition among young mechanic enthusiasts

Educational projects have always been an integral part of Poznań Motor Show. This year, for three days, we witnessed the final competition as part of the 12th edition of the National Mechanics Championships, learning about the winners in the following categories - Young Mechanic, Electromobile, Young Agricultural Machinery Mechanic, Young Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, Young Painter, Young Motorcycle Mechanic, and Professional Mechanic.
