Only a few years ago, the appearance of an electric car on the stand of one of the brands was becoming a sensation. Now everyone knows that electromobility is the future of motoring. The electric e-Niro combines driving pleasure, attractive appearance, crossover versatility and zero emission drive system, making it one of the most efficient electric cars on offer in the world. The model's ambassador is actor Robert de Niro.
e-Niro will be offered in Europe with two engines and two batteries of different capacities to choose from. The car equipped with a 64 kWh battery is powered by an 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor. In the combined cycle, it provides a range of 455 kilometers on a single battery charge. In the urban cycle, e-Niro can travel up to 615 km. The offer will also include e-Niro with a 39.2 kWh battery, which in a combined cycle provides a range of up to 289 kilometers.
As an electric crossover, the e-Niro occupies a unique position in the market due to the spaciousness of the interior, functionality and long range. Buyers will also appreciate the many advantages of e-Niro, which are reserved exclusively for electric cars, and new assistance systems that increase safety. e-Niro is an alternative to compact crossovers powered by traditional gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines. Electric Kia is great for everyday use and for long journeys, ensuring zero emissions and extremely low operating costs. The e-Niro with 204 hp drive system accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.8 seconds.
The new e-Niro joins the Niro hybrid and plug-in hybrids, of which more than a quarter of a million units have already been sold worldwide since the introduction of this model in the offer in 2016. Prices and specifications of the Kia e-Niro presented for the first time in Poland announced will be in the second half of this year, while in Polish showrooms the car will appear in the first quarter of 2020. As standard, the Kia e-Niro has a 7-year warranty of 150,000 kilometers, which also includes a battery and an electric motor.
