The Dodge Charger Daytona premiered in 1969 as a special aerodynamic version of the Dodge Charger, designed for NASCAR racing. It was a car with a distinctive large rear wing and an extended nose to improve aerodynamics. It was built in limited numbers - 503 units.
In 2022, Dodge unveiled a modern, electric version of the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT, which went into production in 2024. Dodge has done something no one expected - it has created the first electric muscle car that still captures the spirit of classic American road monsters.
