Aprilia News for 2025 – Tuareg Rally and Tuono V4

Share

Aprilia – speed captured in Italian style. See the motorcycles, whose racing soul is enclosed in an elegant, unique silhouette.

The origins of the Aprilia brand date back to the post-war years when Cavaliere Alberto Beggio founded the company in Noale. Starting with bicycles, Aprilia made its debut in 1968 with a moped of its own design. However, the real breakthrough came in the 1970s, when the brand's motorcycles began achieving success in motocross, and names like Ivan Alborghetti and Maurizio Sgarzani became synonymous with triumph and ambition.

Shortly after, Aprilia turned its focus to track racing – a segment in which it remains a leader in technology and design to this day. Iconic models like the RS 250 combine precision, lightness, and incredible power, inspiring generations of riders for years.

  1. Aprilia Tuareg Rally – Dakar in it's DNA

The Aprilia Tuareg Rally enters the market as a tribute to Jacopo Cerutti’s success, as he was the first to cross the finish line at Dakar 2024. This model is available in a limited "Rally Race Replica" color scheme, identical to the victorious motorcycle. Gold-anodized fork, handlebars, and wheel rims, a new high front fender, reinforced engine guard, wider handlebars, and an off-road seat create an uncompromising off-road package.

The Tuareg Rally also features technical updates. A new engine mapping provides better throttle response, while the SC Project titanium exhaust with a 60 mm outlet not only improves sound and performance but also reduces the bike's weight to 199 kg. The Kayaba suspension with 240 mm of travel and linear springs ensures top-notch off-road performance.

  1. Aprilia Tuono V4 – Sporty elegance with new aerodynamics

The new Tuono V4 for the 2025 season combines MotoGP experience with everyday functionality. The biggest change is the aerodynamic wing, generating 2.5 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, which improves stability and reduces air resistance. The design has been completely redesigned with the rider’s protection in mind.

The V4 engine has been given new life – its displacement has increased to 1099 cm³, power has reached 180 hp, and the repositioning of the catalyst has reduced noticeable heat. The APRC electronics offer the option to purchase and activate features online without a service visit. The system is based on predictive algorithms that anticipate the motorcycle's reactions.
