The Poznań Motor Show is more than just a showcase of the latest automotive trends—it’s also a platform for recognizing industry leaders. A highlight of the event is the prestigious Trade Press Award, which celebrates excellence in automotive journalism and promotes the highest standards in the field.
Trade Press Award
The MTP Group, organizer of the Automotive Technology Fair and the largest automotive event in Central and Eastern Europe, the Poznań Motor Show, in collaboration with the Automotive Technology Association, annually invites representatives of industry media to participate in the Trade Press Award competition.

The competition is designed to promote high-quality specialized journalism that prioritizes excellence in content. It will assess how modern issues in the automotive technology sector are addressed, the innovative approaches to the topics covered, and the language used to effectively communicate key information to a broader audience.
Marcin Koczyba - Automotive Journalist of the Year!
The recipient of the main award, sponsored by the Automotive Technology Association and the MTP Group, was Marcin Koczyba, head of the Automotive Editorial Team at Radio Kraków and creator of the program "Radiostrada." For many years, Marcin has been dedicated to road safety topics on Radio Kraków, promoting safe driving practices, encouraging positive behavior, and educating the public on road safety. Through his programs, he connects enthusiasts, institutions, and NGOs, demonstrating how much can be achieved through collaboration to enhance safety.
The winners in other categories were:
- Audiovisual Material – Marcin Łobodziński, journalist for the Wirtualna Polska portal, for the piece titled "Gas in the Car – Facts and Myths about LPG Systems." The award is sponsored by Unimetal from Złotów.
- Test of the Year – Katarzyna Dziewicka, journalist for the Truck&Van portal, for the article titled "Incognito." The award is sponsored by Sosnowski Sp. z o.o. Sp. k.
- Diagnostics and Repairs – Rafał Dobrowolski, nominated by the editorial team of Nowoczesny Warsztat, for the article titled "Tire Pressure Management." The award is sponsored by Texa Poland Sp. z o.o.
- Report of the Year – Maciej Woldan for the article titled "Two Worlds," published in Tygodnik Angora. The award is sponsored by Herkules Auto-Technika Warsztatowa.
